Trauma Informed Care: Connections & Healing
Children (like adults) often define themselves through their connections. If they have been
moved often, pulled from those they are connected and attached to, is any wonder they feel and act fragmented from their lives? This in turn potentially opens the door for further trauma and disconnection. This Trauma Informed training discusses ways for caregivers and professionals to help a child develop connections, practical tips on communicating about trauma and help the child build a strength based understanding of their personal story.
