Trauma 101
What is trauma? The training answers this question by defining various levels of trauma, how
trauma affects children, and what caregivers and professionals can do to assist youth. The
presentation will heighten the helper’s awareness of children’s cues so they will know what to expect and how to respond when a child experiences trauma triggers.
