The National Runaway Safeline’s (NRS) Youth Advisory Board (YAB), in partnership with the Family and Youth Services Bureau (FYSB), is hosting a free virtual retreat, Empowering Youth Voices.

This youth-focused retreat offers young people and those who support them the opportunity to connect and learn through guided topic sessions and open discussions. Expert speakers will share their insight on timely topics facing youth today – including, the emotional toll of the COVID-19 pandemic, taking care of yourself and your friends during difficult times, and professional development in a tough economy.

We hope that you will help us spread the word by reaching out to youth in your community and programs and encourage them to participate in this special event. To ensure our youth voices are heard, the focus is on youth engagement and participation; service providers and other adult allies are welcome to attend as participant listeners.
