Foster youth experience structural racism

Nola Brantley Speaks has parterned with UCSF to bring “The Impact of Structural Racism on Foster Youth.” This training builds off “Navigating Difficult Conversations with Youth about Social Injustices” and continues to explore structural racism and oppression. Participants will learn how structural racism exists within the child welfare system, the healthcare system and educational system. Participants will also learn about implicit biases. The training will end with strategies to address these issues within our organizations. “ Navigating Difficult Conversations with Youth about Social Injustices” is a prerequisite.
