TeamChild and Disability Rights Washington are partnering to build a Youth Advisory Board that will help guide the future of legal support for youth in our communities. We are seeking youth and young adults in King, Pierce, Spokane, Thurston, and Yakima counties who have experienced barriers to education, unfair school discipline, juvenile court, foster care, homelessness, immigration and/or LGBTQIA+ and/or Black, Native/ Indigenous, Person of Color identity.
All participants will receive stipends of $20/hour with a monthly commitment for the next 9-12 months at approximately 15 hours per month. This is a hands-on opportunity to create self-help materials and develop educational training that meets the needs of youth in communities throughout Washington State.
