LIBRARY TAKEOUT & OTHER SERVICES
Timberland libraries are currently offering Library Takeout and other limited services. Books and other materials can be pre-ordered directly online at trl.org with a library card number and PIN, or with assistance from library staff. GRAB BAGS
Libraries are offering customized Grab Bags of itemsthat can be picked up during Library
Takeout hours, including picture books, easy non-fiction for kids, music CDs, and DVDs. Fill out the form, indicate preferences, and library staff will fill a bag! To learn more about Grab Bags visit: trl.org/grab-bag

BOOKS & APPS FOR KIDS
Explore a variety of booklists for physical and digital collections that can be read, watched, or listened to on computers and mobile devices using apps such as Libby, Kanopy, and

VIRTUAL EVENTS
Library staff offer programs for all ages via Zoom, including Storytime and Early Learning Tidbits in English and Spanish. Explore the full calendar of events at events.trl.org/.

ONLINE LEARNING

OUTDOOR LEARNING
Consider an adventure! Timberland Library has expanded the “Library of Things” to include
physical items such as birding backpacks, park passes, and musical instruments. Visit
trl.org/library-things for more info.

HANDS-ON LEARNING
Timberland Library partners with the Hands-On Childrens Museum to offer free museum passes throughout the year. Some libraries also offer “Make & Take” kits with support from HOCM, TRL, and local Friends of the Library groups. YOUTH CONNECT BOXES
Share books with the groups and organizations you serve. TRL lends boxes of children’s books to locations such as apartment complexes, health care agencies, classrooms, home daycares, community centers and after-school programs.
